Documenting time

Through my blinds,

I look outside,

Document

Artifacts of time,

Tree limbs against winter skies.

My notebook has a green cover,

But don't know what to write,

So I draw simple line sketches that are plain

Wide-eyed seahorses like Kurt Cobain's.
